The Empathy Project
Our ability to work together, to form cohesive, critically-aware, confident, happy and productive groups, is extremely valuable in the workplace.
To this end, our ability to read and understand the thoughts and feelings of others, be they a client, a colleague or a supplier, and then to act appropriately, optimally, productively, is a highly valuable workplace capability.
In the Aspiory ‘empathy project’, we visit you or your organisation and measure your ‘intersubjective style’, a measure of the way that you relate to others, and then look at how the intersubjective style might influence performance.
We consider two aspects of performance: operational performance and agility - the ability to conceive the need for, plan, direct and deliver programmes of change.
We also consider the competitive strategy and culture of the organisation, so that we can ensure that any plans for developing intersubjective understanding, or ‘empathy’, are well-founded and a worthwhile investment.
We then review the findings with you and discuss the possibility of opportunities for improved intersubjective capability, and how this might help the organisation’s performance, its ability to meet strategic goals. We can help produce plans for improvement projects and help deliver these, too.
We believe that ours is a unique and visionary approach. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss carrying out this ‘empathy’ or ‘intersubjective style’ project with you, your team or organisation.
